I have no idea what theese are but hopefully someone can help.. I moved and the lady who previously lived there gave me some plants but I need to know what they are to make sure it is safe to keep them...I have a pregnant girlfriend and a dog and a cat so I want to make sure they are all safe to be around and won't harm my pets if they decide to snack on them for some reason.. The first one is about 3ft tall..the leaves are about the size of an adults palm.. The second is small..about 6-8 inches tall and the leaves are about 2-3"... The third is also small..approx 6" tall withal out 2-3" leaves... Can anyone give a positive ID on any of them? Thanks !
First one looks like Syngonium podophyllum. This plant is no problem for your dog or your girlfriend, and if your cat has any sense it will take one little nibble and leave it alone (at least, that's what mine did.) Second and ones are Epipremnium aureum 'variegata' or similar cultivar. Same goes for them. Aroids are generally very safe houseplants.
