Can anyone please tell me the name of this plant? I believe, from the leaves, that it is a Neoregelia.
The structure of the flowers would be the thing. Might even be an Aechmea, unless there is something about the flowers that rules that out. Someone where you got the picture should know, unless it's a shot from your own greenhouse.
Thank you both, That is the right plant! It is in our solarium, supplied to us last spring. Someone was always going to get back to me with the name but that didn't happen. With your help I now see it on the Internet.
