I looked through the threads on here about palms, and I know it's not a Majesty Palm. I'm having no luck finding out information on it. I brought the palm indoors in November, and it did well until Late December when i started noticing the leaves becoming brown and dropping, or just the tips browning. I took the advice from other palm threads, and watched how much I was watering it, and made sure that the window it was at had plenty of light. There is new growth, but still a lot of browning. Does it need repotted? I have not tried fertilizers for it yet. Any ideas? Thanks!
Looks like spineless yucca, Yucca. elephantipes. Whatever it is, it looks like it hasn't been getting enough light.
Probably Dracaena angustifolia. Light brown tips generally indicate that there was a lack of soil moisture at one point. Only has to become overly dry once to brown the tips, and more light also equals more need for water. Doesn't appear to need re-potting just yet.
