This is the second time we have planted Emerald cedars around 2 sides of our property. They have been in for 2 years now. We live in the Niagara Region in Ontario. Last year they were doing wonderful about 3 ft. tall. We wrapped them in a mesh tree wrap for the winter and when we took it off they were about 1/2 brown and alot of of dead needles had fallen off. We are pretty upset about this and wonder if there is any hope of saving them. We watered them well last summer and well in the fall. I tried putting a little very diluted fertilizer on them but so far they look pretty bad. Any suggestion out there. HELP
