    Here are pictures of my humble Acer triflorum to hopefully help. It’s pretty sun scorched after the week of 112-117F degree weather.

    I joined this forum just to post these pictures.

    EDIT: originally and mistakenly listed as Acer maximowiczianum

    @Worldly_Wrangler, good morning and welcome to the maples forum.
    Your Acer maximowiczianum is doing extremely well in the circumstances. I hope you post some photos in the Autumn, as well as these Summer ones. It would be very interesting to see how it coped with this heat.

    Thanks for the warm welcome, though I just realized I made a mistake! This is actually an Acer triflorum and not an Acer maximowiczianum. I’ve been looking at a maximowiczianum hybrid to replace it with and had that on my brain. Please forgive me for spreading misinformation.

    I’m planning on giving this one to a neighbor in the fall and will replace it with an Acer griseum x Acer maximowiczianum hybrid that I think I will enjoy more.
