I spotted this slime mold growing in an aspen stand just outside Breckenridge, Colorado (elev. 11,500 ft). Any identification help would be appreciated!
I'm looking at a picture of Fuligo septica, or "Scrambled-egg slime" that seems to fit the growth habit seen here, as well as the color and general appearence. If that's not it, hat name should get you in the neighborhood in case you wanted to try a web search from here.
