I'd be grateful for any assistance in identifying the indoor plant pictured in this post. I've included a picture of the whole plant, and a close-up of both the front-side and back-side of a leaf.

Over the last several years, I've subjected this poor plant to considerable abuse - weeks without water, consigned to a sunless corner of a room, etc. etc.. It has, however, stubbornly persisted, and has recently responded enthusiastically to a weekly watering regime and a window with indirect light. When re-potting the plant several weeks ago, I noted a large tap-root coiled at the very bottom of the pot.

    Any thoughts?
