I moved my cactus to another pot since there was a crack on my previous one. When I moved the cactus, some soil crumbled apart and I saw the bottom part of my cactus is becoming yellow! Help, what do I do? I livr in a tropical country and it is summer here. Please help me revive my cactus

Was the yellow area there when the soil fell off, or did it appear later? Cacti are often yellowish at the base, where there is no chlorophyll.
