I am new to this website. I had 5 Japanese maples at my last home in San Jose, CA. I just found out some can tolerate the weather here. We would like a dwarf or bonsai around 5' that spreads out, that can tolerate wind, several inches of snow and dry heat. Suggestions for red and green varieties would be greatly appreciated. We also have a slightly protected area for a very small bonsai. We would like a larger variety as well. Would the green lace Vindis work ok? Thanks...
Look up Mountain Maples (.com?) because they've got a huge selection and must have some dwarf types, or at least know where you can get them.
