need advice on my lemon tree

    i have a 6 foot tall lemon tree planted from seed. i live in zone 7 and was wondering if i could plant it outside in my garden. it also has these small real annoying nats and was wondering if somebody could tell me how to get rid of them.

    Too cold in the winter in zone 7 for lemon trees. Gnats are probably from excessive soil moisture which cause the roots to rot. Try letting the plant dry some between waterings and make sure that the container has proper drainage and that the plant is getting sufficient sunlight.
