I have been given what looks like a succulent plant to rescue. I am not sure exactly what kind it is and how to properly care for it.

Look at the picture and see if you can name this so I can look up it's care and how to propogate this, please and thank you for your time and help.

I do so much appreciate it.

    yup, chris has it...zig-zag plant.

pretty cool-looking plant! when healthy, it can get pretty long - i've seen many of them as hanging planters.

Hey Bluewing, I guess we will both have to wait. The flower looks a bit like a Night Bloomer I reckon....

Anyone know how old they have to be to flower?

Sorry Krista, I'm not trying to hijack your thread : )

    Hey Ed,

I found this info on the internet as far as flowering for this plant, whether it's true or not, time will tell I guess!

Ric-racs are not prolific bloomers, only a few flowers will appear on old and rootbound plants and it may take a few years before that happens, but on the other hand the leaves are very beautiful and unusual.
