Mystery weed

Hi all, New member here.

I have a clump of a mystery weed growing next to my garden and each individual plant is already about a metre high - and climbing.

I'd appreciate knowing what species - is it invasive?

Thanks Ron - phew, to think I was admiring it as an attractive plant. Until I read your response and did a search.

"Get rid of it" you advise, from what I've just read, that may not be so easy.
