Good day all, A friend of mine found this spider on his driveway in Burlington, Ontario and i was wondering if there might be an expert that would be able to provide some insight as to what kind of spider it is. Im hoping it is an escapee from a pet store/someones pet. Would greatly appreciate any insight. I apologize if this is not relevant to this forum, saw one previous to this about spiders.
You need to include some indication of the size (which isn't apparent from the photo). From your comments I assume it is large. Possibly a native "Wolf Spider" or a "Fishing Spider".
