mystery plant

This plant is growing at my daughters new house just south of Saskatoon and she has no idea what it is.As you can see by the photos it has a 5 lobed leaf and soft spiked fruits ,it has a spongy texture and watermelon like seeds.If anyone can identify this please let me know ,thanks

 

Looks like Echinocystis lobata. Common name wild cucumber.
