    Hello,

We had two beautiful Myrtus communis adorning either side of our front walkway. The severe winter we had here in Victoria damaged these plants considerably. Initially I thought I would wait out the spring and see how they faired. Unfortunately, they look dead - although there are some rare spots where I can see new leaves starting. The Myrtus are about 5 feet high.

Is there anything I can do to help them recover or is it a lost cause? Should I prune them back? Fertilize? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Jo

My Google skills seem to be lacking on this one - doesn't seem like a common situation. Maybe someone with experience will pipe up.
