I have two pear trees, and they now both have pear trellis rust on the leaves. One is a Bartlett and it has lots of fruit, but they are falling off early and about half the size of what they were last year.

The other is maybe an Anjou (I didnt' plant either) and this poor tree produced the stragest fruit. I am attaching a photo as it is hard to describe. What caused this?

    Hello

It could be a lack of boron in the soil causing the fruit cracking

look to this link about half way into the page there is a link to fruit similar to yours

get a soil test done to see about nutrient levels and how to correct them if necessary
