My tree is dying and I need some guidance reviving it. The tree is about 15-20 feet tall. I dont know what type. I have attached pictures...the first is the dying tree...the second is the healthy tree...the third is both of them.

Anyone know what I could do to bring it back to life? I have seen a bunch of chemicals online..do they work? Should i cut the leaves? HHHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPP!!!!!!!!!

The palms you have are Canary Island Date Palm (Phoenix canariensis). There certainly appears to be no help for the dead palm. Once the center growth dies, which it seems to have done, the palm can't generate new growth. Forget "a bunch of chemicals online"
I wonder what could have gone wrong, since the healthy palm was likely treated no different.

    Cheers, LPN.

it looks like your palm was over-pruned, once a Canary Island Date Palm is pruned passed 180 degrees, it becomes at risk for pinching of the trunk, or death. im sorry

Or disease. A number of things (fungi, especially) kill date palms, both in California and Florida. Regrettable that a big plant like that got sick. Be very careful to keep possibly-contaminated pruning equipment away from the healthy palm.

Don't plant another palm in the same spot as the deceased.
