I have a dwarf lemon tree which is doing very well, however of late I have noticed snails or some type of worm on the leaves. What can I do? Also ,how often should I water and feed the tree? Thanks rosco48

Sorry, but everyone is likely going to need some more infor from you in order to help.

    So:

    Indoor or outside?

In the Ground or in a Pot?

It is easy to tell a snail from a worm. Have you seen them or do you just see slime "trails"? Are they damaging the leaves?

This talks about feeding and watering. The watering instructions don't really help you much as your tree is not freshly planted (I think). I would think that you only need to water during the really hot weather. Water very, very well once maybe twice a week. Water deeply so that the water gets under the tree and as the top dries the roots will be forced down to find the water. If you water lightly but often the roots stay close to the surface and dry out quickly if you forget to water.

As for the snails, the trick is to stop them from getting into the tree. Slug/snail bait around the base of the tree would help a lot, and I read that they don't won't cross a strip of copper. Copper is expensive, but for one tree it can't be that much and many garden centers have ready made products that are just what you need.
