Mount Work Regional Park - Ross Durrance side, Victoria, BC.
Plant was growing on the north side of a 70 degree slope near the base of Douglas fir trees
Photo taken in early afternoon of 13 June 2017

I forgot to photograph the leaves/stems and I can't recall how big the flower is but I "think" it may have been less than 20mm diameter.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Perhaps Claytonia.

Thanks Tyrlych - had looked at that but now upon closer reading of Plants of Coastal BC I see Montia chamissoi is noted as sometimes being called Claytonia chamissoi.
I will follow that lead! Thank you for yor help.
