Has anyone ever heard of a plant called Mother of a Thousand Young? What's the real name of this plant? It had round leaves and the "babies" would sprout all along the branches and drop off easily to become new plants. I can't really remember any more details. I had one that died 2 years ago (sister's cat knocked a lamp over on it).

the name you're thinking of is "Mother of Thousands" or the "Mexican Hat Plant" Bryophyllum daigremontianum.

I looked at some pictures and that's what it was! Thanks so much! My husband really liked that plant, so maybe I'll get him a new one for his birthday.
