moth orchids

    Hi, My moth orchid is done blooming and I want to cut the stalk back so It can rebloom , how do I cut the stalk back? thanks, Dogseadepression

    Come down the stem to the first node (swelling on stem) and cut above that. Your Moth orchid may rebloom from that node. If the flower stalk dies (which it may), then cut it off at the base. Since your orchid will have a "resting period", it will be awhile before it reblooms.
