I was looking at, and smelling, a moroccan broom, cytisus battandieri the other day. The experience encourages me to try propagating it, as I've had some success with other sometimes difficult plants. The only info I could find indicates that seeds are hard to come by and take about 5 years to bloom. The other mention was that it is often grafted onto laburnum. No mention of cuttings. Can anyone add anything to this...the plant seems very rare in the trade. I'd like to do a few and spread them around if I could figure out the protocol! Thanks, Glen
8 sources for plants are given by Hill/Narizny, The Plant Locator - Western Region (Timber Press). I'd watch for seeds, plant those.
