This is what is left of my money tree that is now 8yrs old..
My husband over-watered it, and the other root stem died out to root rot.

Is there a way to cut and re-root this?
any help is appreciated. Its a family heirloom at this point. It was given to us on our wedding day, from a family overseas. I would hate to lose it.

From my experience, just separating the rotting roots and re-potting it does the trick. I have had mine "die" numerous times (it used to have 5 stalks and now I am down to 3). They are pretty tenacious plants, so don't lose hope.
