I recently bought another majesty palm for my living room to hide the back of my TV from being seen when people enter the room. The first one I had for about 6 months and it died, dry as a bone, even if I watered it weekly. I would very much like to keep this one alive as it is beautifully shaped. It seems I read somewhere that I need to mist the plant. If this is true, it's a painstaking task as I have to pull it (it's cumbersome) from the living room to the hall by the staircase so I'm tall enough to spray the tallest leaves. RSVP kind souls out there and thanks for your precious time.
Hi Lise, Majesty palms don't do well indoors. You might want to consider another type if this one doesn't make it. http://mgonline.com/majestypalm.html http://www.floridagardener.com/palms/majestypalm.htm Wish I had better news. Newt
