Hi, I'm back again with more Orchid questions. My Orchid that I got last spring, I just realized after more research, is a "Miniature Phalaenopsis". When it had flowers on it, it was about 5-6 inches tall. The leaves are only a couple of inches long, and it's in this dinky, skinny little pot. Does anyone know if there's any difference between a regular sized Phal and a miniature Phal as far as frequency of blooming goes? Like I mentioned in my other thread, mine hasn't bloomed in over a year now, but it has 4 roots growing above the moss and a new leaf growing. I am going to repot it (I ordered an Orchid pot with the holes in the sides and Orchid bark mix from Amazon a few nights ago), and bring it home from the office and put it near a window at night to get cooler temps to see if that triggers a flower spike. But I'm also wondering if this Miniature version has any differences besides just its size. I couldn't find many details about it online, but I'm also at work so a lot of the links on Google were "forbidden" by our firewall. Thanks! Edit to add: Also, I just read that Orchids bought at home improvement stores are forced to bloom with hormones and rarely ever bloom again. I got mine from Lowe's. :o( Is there still hope for it to bloom again?
