Help - my mimosa or silk tree is loosing all its new growth.
All new and seemingly healthy buds are appearing at the appropriate time and falling off! My tree is about 7 years old and I have a 2 year old that is also loosing some new growth as well.

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

Albizia julibrissin - Mimosa or silk tree (if that is in fact the silk tree you are a talking about, there are a few trees called silk), is a very sensitive tree. It is susceptible to vascular wilt disease, which can kill a plant to the ground. Moisture can be a problem, as well as frost.

For your best chances, make sure that your Mimosas are in a sunny spot and very well-drained. That's what they like.
