On another forum I heard that you should spray your tomato plants with a milk and water solution. Does anyone know if you should do this and if it should only be done for Tomatoes or should it be done for all plants. What does it do and what is the exact mixture?

Have a read through this article:

Horticultural Myths - Milk and Mildew (PDF) Note: the author of the sheet does elaborate on how milk has been shown to be effective against transmission of viruses

Interesting article. When I first saw the question, I thought milk on tomatoes might have something to do with calcium for blossom end rot, but would never have guessed mildew.
