Hello everyone I have a Meyer Lemon that seems to be infested with what I think are white flies, The adults are flying around the tree and what appear to be young ones are crawling in the soil. I have twice tried an insect spray recommended for white flies but it has not done any good. Moved the tree to our cabin to quarantine it from the new seedlings we are about to start and didn't want to contaminate them. I'm considering taking the plant to bare root, rinsiing it well in the shower and repotting with new soil. Is this a good or bad idea.
    Thanks stu

Bad Idea! Whitefly will be unaffected if that's what it is.
IF you have Fungus Gnats it might be helpful, but only
temporarily. Moisture control is key with gnats.
Neem oil will help if you have Whitefly and should control
    larval Gnats.
