We have a white fairly big (white fat)slug underground in our garden that we must get rid of. The only way we see them is to pull our weeds and they are in the roots. How can we kill them without using poisonous substances as we have pets. They are keeping our grass yellow in color
Well, the first thing is to find out what, exactly they are. If they are gnawing roots underground are they really slugs, or are they something else, like an insect larva?
Hi Glws, Sounds like you have grubs. Is this what you see? http://www.hort.uconn.edu/ipm/homegrnd/htms/whgrubs.htm Newt
