My Northfolk Island Pine which is about 35' tall has lots of mealybugs. What is the
best method to get rid of them.

    Hi Bechlumber,

Insecticidal soap works for mealy bugs as well as pyrethrins. For such a large tree you may need a certified arborist.

    Hi Bechlumber,
35 feet of Araucaria is tricky to treat. Look around for a lady beetle called Cryptolaemus she devours meally bug with gusto. Sadly once the pest is eradicated, the beneficial moves on. Are you on clay or sand soil?
Ask yourself the question "why is it lousy with pests"?
