I believe, this plant with red fruit is Podophyllum(Mayapple), is it? It is near the entrance in Asian garden, can it be different one from local Mayapple we have in Canada?
With 5 Asian species to choose from it certainly doesn't have to be the North American species. And it isn't.
So do you remember where it was? The Podophyllum closest to the entrance is Podophyllum versipelle, north of Upper Asian Way; farther along, south of Upper Asian Way, not as far as the moon gate, is Podophyllum hexandrum, which is what seems more likely from photos I'm seeing. We should look for the P. versipelle - that seems to be an attractive plant.
