I have a Euphorbia Trigona of approximately 12' (3.8 meters) in height, and growing yet. Despite its height, it continues to pop out arms approximately every 6-7 spines. I would like to know if there is any information onthe maximum height an E. Trigona can attain, as I've been unable to locate any such information online. I would also like to know if there is any thought that the expression of arms is an attempt to achieve relative lateral balance.

I have a second E. Trigona, about 6' (1.7 meters), however, it consistes of a lone stalk or trunk, with no arms. I would like to know if there is a way it can be "encouraged" to throw out arms.
