Maples in South Korea?

    Anyone have any info about maples in korea? I've noticed that Korea is mentioned in Vertree's books but was curious if anyone knew any details about what South Korea has to offer when it comes to maples. thanks for any info/help.

    Hi I have acer Pictum Okomotoanum I planted this acer two month ago I see this maple in the site "the Maple" I received this by Esveld .I read notice in the book "Maple of the World"I quote a little "It is endemicto Ullung-do an island on the upper stern side of south Korea.Ernest Wilson visited the island whit Nakai in 1917......
