maples flowers !

hallo hi does anyone have pictures of maples with the male and female flowers ?
wich are the dichotomous keys?

Hmm, they seem to have got their labels wrong unless I am missing something? The one they have marked as male is clearly showing the stigma/style which are the female parts...

 

@maf you are right. I didnt pay close enough attention. Thanks for the correction.

 

I edited de Jong's lecture (with critical help from Dan Crowley and Hugh Angus) which explains flowering and its evolution pretty well. Lots of pictures (maple porn).
