Identification: Maple species ID

    In the past 4 or 5 years, I got so many seeds, some of them that only germinated in their second year, and the tags were lost.

    I have these three (maybe not from the same year/batch) that, for lack of further ID, I labelled Acer pseudosieboldianum.

    What do you think ?

    Well, anyway, they're nice maples...

    I have some seedlings with similar leaf shape. The seeds were collected from a tree that's not label and possible a shir. hydrid

    For me, i's a good guess. Always hard to say when small, but that's certainly where I'd go with them. As they grow, you'll have to look for the identifying characteristics, like flower/sepal color, number of scale scars, etc. It's not an easy tree to ID with complete surety.
