Can anyone translate this tag? My wife Adele was in Beijing and brought back some samaras from this tree. Thanks in advance!
Hopefully someone will be along to translate,however I can't see the word 'maple' there but I think I can see the words 'you love' on the first line so probably not a plant lable ha ha. Did she like Beijing Emery? I like it a lot except the traffic!
We wondered if it might be something else besides a label, especially given how it's attached! But still, worth a try. From the bark might be A. truncatum, but bark isn't much to go on. (I haven't seen the samaras yet.) Adele loved Beijing, but wasn't there for long enough to explore as much as she wanted to. Actually her business was in Shanghai, she managed to squeeze a day and a half in Beijing at the end of the trip. Wish I could have gone along, that's for sure! cheers, -E
The Chinese says "Please love the tree, do not use the tree for your excercise!" So unfortunately, no closer to identifying that.
