I acquired one this spring but thought that it would die near freezing and has to be inside over winter. how does yours do?
The plant must be indoors before freeze-up. I simply cut it back to six inches and keep it just alive in the furnace room, or buy a new one in the Spring. I have done both.
Double petals What species my Mandevilla is? Is it M. splendens? I have seen splendens, but they don't have double petals like mine.
