Hey all, this spring has really kicked into gear and both my Magnolia Denudata and Proctoriana have flowered for the first time! I didn't get a photo of the Denudata before it finished flowering, but I did manage to get this shot of the Proctoriana yesterday. Sorry the shot's not great. The tree itself is still quite small, only about 80cm high, but I'm hoping it will put on a lot of growth this season. Beautiful isn't it? Cheers Martin
Yes: nice open flowers with broad tepals and reddish centers, like better forms of M. salicifolia such as 'Iufer' and 'Else Frye'.
