Big Leaf Magnolia in Victoria, BC, Canada. Botanical name: Magnolia macrophylla Flowers: 10 to 14 inches across. Leaves 20 to 30 inches long. It forms "super flowers" and huge leaves that look tropical. Unlike Magnolia grandiflora specimens in Victoria, it is deciduous. One of the most impressive flowering trees in the Garden Capital.
