I'm new to this site and not much of an expert... I tried to find the right place to post this, but without success. I have several "Lucky Bamboo" type plans that stand in vases of water. They have the typical one branch of leaves that grows off to the side. Now, one of the vases got knocked over about a year ago, and the leafy branch broke off. The stalk happily produced new leaves and it doing great. I put the broken-off branch into water, and it's grown considerably. I'm keeping it in its own little vase, but I was thinking about other options. My questions: 1. Will it stay "a bunch of leaves" or will it develop the typical stalk over time? 2. Can I plant it in soil? 3. If I do plant it in soil, can I propagate it, and if yes, how? Here's a pictue of the guy: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3068/2971139536_6d58e67651.jpg?v=0 Any help would be greatly appreciated!
