My first lotus flower. Grown from a seed, it took about 4 months to get this small flower. It's about 5 inches across. It's mother produces 14 inch flowers and is truly spectacular to see. The nice lady who owns it knew nothing about it but was happy to pick up a handfull of seeds lying about on the ground and give them to me. I guess it came with the house which she recently purchased.

    Aloha, bob

Very nice - I'd be very happy to see any other plants that grow in Hawaii that you could share via photos.
