Hallo, I'm a newbie, my name's Ade from Indonesia, an undergraduate student who doing research about macro-fungi. I've found some species in field, but I don't know what species they are? So, I kindly hope you to help me to identify those species, please. thank you for help. regards.
Greetings and welcome to the forum! Some fungi species have a global distribution, some are very local only, some are inbetween. I've not seen any of your three specimens in the pacific northwest north america, and they are not familiar to me. I can help you narrow down by type, which will help if you have access to field guides or online keys for your area. The first appears to be a polypore (visible pores on underside), so you will need to note whether it was on ground or wood/plant, and if possible what kind of wood and/or trees nearby. Smell or bruising colour may be useful to note. The second is a gilled mushroom, and you may find it in a section/key referring to pleurotoid mushrooms. Note wood type if possible, and make a spore print. The third is in the bolete group, note the spongy pored undersurface of the cap, as well as the netting on the stem. Note bruising colour and nearby trees, assuming it was found on the ground. Taste may be useful (spit out after tasting). I hope that is helpful, cheers, frog
