I'd like to help you out but getting one to you is a problem. Its cold here, mail has slowed down, and I don't know what malicious thingies might hitch a ride with it.

Ah, fair enough. Where abouts are you? Maybe once this whole thing slows down. I could quarantine the plant for Two weeks as well.

If you're looking for Murraya koenigii, check with Sun Tai Sang Farm on 4886 SE Marine Dr, Burnaby. They have had the plant in various sizes for the past few years.

Thank you so much. You've made my day. I called earlier and they have a few in stock. Bigger than what I wanted but now I just need to cat proof it.

You're welcome. In case you're not aware, this tree needs to be pruned to maximize the production of leaves for harvest. Have a look at some of the videos on YouTube. An example follows. The video also shows how to properly harvest leaves.

Hey Sejal, my plant is actually fruiting right now which means I should have seeds in a month. If you want some, I can send some over to you as long as you cover the shipping cost. Sound good? I'll contact you when it's ready or contact me in a month if I forget.

The flowers of this plant are said to be very fragrant but could someone describe the fragrance? Is this a plant that's worth growing just for its fragrance?

They kind of smell like jasmine but a bit spicier and not as fragrant. It's not worth growing for its fragrance but rather the leaves which are used for cooking. I'm brown so I put that stuff in everything.

I will let everyone know when the seeds are ready. I should have 50+ as long as it stays sunny . I'll have about 20 that I can give away to people. So far I have 4 requests. I think since the seeds will be fresh, germination rate should be strong so I'll give 4 each.

Wow, that is one sizeable plant. I was at Sun Tai Sang Farm in mid-June and they had some much smaller plants.

Thank you so much for your generosity. May I ask if you keep your curry leaf indoor year round or do you move it outside in the summer?

Indoors only. I live in an apt building but I'm on the top floor and get a lot of sun. I would move it outside if I could though.

Then in the absence of insects, will you be hand-pollinating the flowers?
