Just adding some pictures of newly unfurling cultivars which give the immpression of their lovely new leaves which appear to have just been lightly dipped in red paint. Oh so pretty. Finally at last everything is starting to come out into colour now here in the UK.
emery.. Rest of the year it's just basically another green dissectum, it's best time is in the spring hence the name lovely red edgings on the leaves which then slowly fade to become all green, then during the fall turns a pleasing orange tinged with red, very similar to Viridis in colours. Have two of these at present one in a container with lots of shade, and the other in the ground which gets quite a good dose of sun during the day,one in the shade looks far better with more defined red edgings on the leaves, never noticed any scorching on either sets of leaves during the summer holds very well both in sun and shade for me. Just going to see how the top ground one fairs colour wise against the shady container one during the fall, depending on how i performs i think this one will be lifted at the end of the season and placed somewhere with more shade similar to it's counterpart. Few pics of both now and last Autumn , still a nice dissectum though pleasing to the eye.
