I have two giant liquid amber trees in my yard. Both are within 15' of the house and I have a 40' root that has surfaced under the house in the crawl space. I see cracks in the foundation but now serious damage yet. I thought I would cut the root from the tree and remove a section of it from under the foundation. Any thoughts on that?
