I have a Liquid Amber that is tearing up my drive way. Is there a way to cut a large root on a Liquid Amber without killing the tree?
It sounds like you may have problems. Even if you do not kill the tree you may find that you have weakend its support structure where it blows over with a wind from that direction. It would pay to discuss your options with an arborist who can inspect the tree for you. Trees are notorius for speed bumps on driveways!
