Is this the same species in 3 different life stages?
    Or different species?

    Hi @allelopath
Yup - different kinds of lichen here rather than stages: I see at least four here.
Crustose are a bit challenging to ID ... with the yellow one I would start by looking at Acarospora and similar for regional species options.
    Lovely colours!

I see only 3, the aforementioned green, orange, yellow.
    Where is the fourth?

I so much love lichen for stealth! I've probably asked you this before @allelopath - do you have a handlens e.g. 10x mag or higher? If not, strongly recc. getting one as the stealth of tiny world is magnificent!

I do have a hand lens. I didn't occur to me to use it for lichen, so I'll give it a try.
