    The name of this thread was changed from L. cotyledon hybrid to L. cotyledon on the advice of Brent Hine, Curator of the E.H. Lohbrunner Alpine Garden. Roger Simpson, a Lewisia expert, has identified this plant as typical of how the species looks in the Siskiyou Mountains of southwestern Oregon and northwestern California, USA.
