Identification: Leeds UK

    I found these yesterday and have never seen them before in my garden

    Greetings Kwdepauw!

    Although generally more information is needed*, especially the underside of cap and evidence of spore colour, and although you are in a completely different region of the world, I am still going to hazard a guess as to genus <grin>.
    The cracked cap, overall appearance, time of year, and what I can see of the habitat suggest Agrocybe.
