I've been told that it's necessary to copper spray a laurel hedge. Is that true? why? how often?

Maybe for Prunus Shot Hole. So if that is what they were talking about how necessary it is depends on how much you care about the holes.

    If you have any.

i wish I could get rid of my neighbor's laurel hedge - so is copper spray the way to do it?
    just kidding

    where are you located?

does your hedge (laurel) have any current problems?
I have never known any issues with those fast-growing, over-growing tall weed hedges here in Greater Vancouver or even down in Coastal (Seattle Portland) US at another garden with which I am familiar.

i have had to deal with both the traditional laurel and the "portugese" laurel - messy leaves, messy berries, freely reproducing.

    chainsaw anyone?
